How does lunch end up on your plate?

With the Raven through the Abraxas kitchens

Quick help

Parents of children attending a nursery do not need to log in to the online ordering system at Abraxas, as meals are ordered directly by the nursery.

If you are a new customer, please click on ‘Registration for new customers’ on the right-hand side of our website (bestellung.abraxas-diekueche.de) and fill in the form with your details and those of your child.

Please log in, select the ‘Dinner guests’ button and then select ‘+ Add dinner guests’ on the right.

Once your child has registered, we will send them a chip with a name tag. You do not need to request the chip separately – it will be sent automatically. School staff will hand it over to your child.

If you have forgotten your password, click on ‘Forgotten your password?’ in the top right-hand corner when logging in. We will send you a new password straight away. Please also check your spam folder.

Go to ‘Order Food’ in your customer account. Choose your lunch together with your child. Tap the + button to select your meal. If the box is green, you have ordered your meal. No further confirmation is required.

Please cancel the meal if your child is unable to attend. When ordering a meal for the day your child is absent, click the button; the field, which was previously green, will turn white again. Your selection will be deleted. You can cancel the meal until 8.00 am on the day in question.

In the customer area, you will find the ‘Order Overview’. Here, once you have selected the desired meals, you can download your child’s personalised meal plan as a PDF.

Meal orders or changes to orders can be made with 5 days’ notice.

By reading the chip, the dispensing machine recognises the selected menu. The chip also indicates whether your child requires a meal to cater for allergies.

Your child will still be served lunch here even without a chip. The staff serving the meals will then have to search for your child’s name manually in the computer system. This takes a very long time, which means your child may, for example, be asked to let children with chips go first. Please remind your child to bring their chip with them so that we can ensure meals are served quickly and smoothly.

We will provide your child with their first chip free of charge. If it is lost, we will provide a replacement chip for a fee. A new chip can be ordered in the customer area under ‘Meal participants’. Please click on ‘Order new chip’ next to the chip ID below.

Portion sizes are calculated to be age-appropriate and are based on binding guidelines. Our serving staff must serve the specified portions. Portion sizes may only be altered at the child’s express request. However, your child is free to say at any time whether they would like a smaller portion. Your child may have a second helping of the side dishes.

No, your child is not allowed to choose a different meal at the serving counter if it differs from what was ordered. Binding orders are necessary so that we know exactly how much of each dish to prepare. This helps to prevent food waste.

If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, we will prepare special meals tailored to your child’s needs. A doctor’s certificate is required. Please send this to: info@abraxas-diekueche.de

We don’t use pork in our cooking.

Pupils in Years 7 to 12 with a valid BerlinPass are also eligible for a free lunch. The lunch is then funded through the Education and Participation Package (BuT). For all other secondary school pupils, there is a charge.

Children whose parents’ income is below a certain threshold are entitled to a berlinpass. As well as offering a range of other benefits, the berlinpass also entitles the holder to a free lunch from Year 7 onwards.

Please ensure that your child always has a valid berlinpass. If the berlinpass has expired, you will otherwise be required to pay for the meal.

We always need a current copy of your berlinpass. You can email it to onlinebestellung@abraxas-diekueche.de. Alternatively, you can send a photo of your berlinpass via WhatsApp to 0176 55 28 44 16.
