Why am I called Abraxas?
I was named after the raven Abraxas from Otfried Preußler’s “The Little Witch“. He listens, thinks things through, offers encouragement and, every now and then, speaks his mind honestly.
He accompanies the little witch on her journey, stays by her side when things get tough, yet doesn’t do everything for her.
That is exactly what our youth work is all about: we guide young people, support them and give them the space to find their own way.

It’s important to me that young people experience the following with us: I’m capable of something, I’m needed, and I can take the next step. Sometimes it takes time, sometimes a detour – the key thing is that we keep at it and work out together what really suits them.
